Madhubani Painting is folk art of India. It originated in Mithila, Bihar. It is also known as Mithila Painting. It includes geometrical patterns and daily nature- sun, moon, life scenes, villages, marriage, association of people with nature. It is done with variety of tools- brushes, fingers, twigs,etc. Powdered rice, natural colours, acrylic colours,etc are used to make Madhubani Painting.
