“Welcome to Aamnagar police station, Bose babu '', chanted people.

Mohan Lal ji, the head of the Nagar welcomed the newly appointed Inspector with a basket of delicious mangoes. “Thank you Mukhiya ji for such a warm welcome,” told Inspector Bose.  “Where is my son, Boltu? He was by my side,” asked Inspector Bose to havildar Venugopal Naidu.

 “Fwoosh…”,Naidu sneezed and blew his nose and said, “Saar, your son is playing with the Nagar kids. Don't worry saar, I will drop him home”.

“Saar, we have to go on night patrolling. Banke is an evil man from the neighboring village. He keeps his eyes on Aamnagar’s mango orchards and conspires to spoil them so that he can sell his mangoes in the market” told Naidu.

They went patrolling around the Nagar.

“Fwoosh…” Naidu sneezed and said, “Sorry saar. I always have a runny nose, childhood problem saar”.

“Saar, it seems like the goons have fled hearing your name. Let’s go home saar”, told Naidu. 

 “Can you hear a whimpering sound, Naidu? Seems like some creature is in pain and asking for help”, told Bose.

They followed the whimpering sound to find out what it was.

“Aww… you poor pup! How did you come here?”, asked Bose.

Bose wrapped the puppy in a piece of cloth and took it home.

“Oh! Baba, I have been waiting for you”, said Boltu. 

“Where did you get this puppy from? What is his name? Is he going to stay with us? What…?”, asked Boltu.

Boltu kept asking questions one after the other as he was immensely excited to see the puppy.

“His name is Tutul, Tutul Bose. He is our new family member”. Said Bose. 

“Welcome! Tutul…”, welcomed excited Boltu.

Tutul plunged into Boltu’s arms and licked him to show his love.
