Under The Same Sky -Quote
Even under the darkest skies Or through the unlighted, stretched out passages That life has ever to bestow on us, There is no obstacle too big nor a wall too thick That would hinder our ability to accept The inevitable reality that each & every one of us Belong under the same sky, enduring almost the same moods; Sow almost the same kernels & reap almost the same fruits. None of us are truly safe from the inevitable circumstances, We are all bound to look after our unavoidably damaged roots. We might all shed a tear or two And groan about the hapless happenings That make them all the more true But all these, that are how they are, Bind us together, no matter the change, no matter the range, Like how the burdocks hold on to a wanderer And like the assortment of stories we are to, one day, exchange. - Halari Aveni Nongsiej (Poem on Common Humanity)
