Dry brown leaves Once on the trees, Slightly dancing By a wave of breeze. While softly falling Into the arms Of the wet lands With dying charms. And as they flutter Into the air, They sway gently Like open hair. "You don't know" Says the dry one To the fresh green leaf Shining under the sun. "The beauty I have lived While falling to the wet ground, Like a soul free from life Without branches to bound. I hope the ground takes my care As I immerse in it, And before that last touch Let me dance with the breeze a bit. Still the green ones on the tree Remain unknown of the joy That the dry leaves have seen When separations employ.

A broad smile On the face, A hand resting On her valley waist. Head slightly tilted Towards the shoulder, A cute face With a heart bolder. Almond eyes With dark brown coffee drops, A black dot Over her olive skin pops. Such is my Beloved beauty, Down to earth And never snooty. While wishing I could pluck this rose flower, And tell it About its aesthetic power, I saw the tulip for whom I earlier tried, Whose charm has always Decreased by my side. For owning something brings responsibility And ruining them Is my ability, I maintain distance with the rose, And watch from my place However it grows. Some hearts can blossom alone In this world so mean, Isn't that how the sun and the moon Have always been? I think some beauties Are better untouched, For a world like us That doesn't deserve much.
